Your Kapten Experience includes

Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the warehouse shop – from goods receipt to the till receipt:

• Goods Receipt & Stock Management: You check incoming B-grade and outlet stock, document its condition and ensure accurate stock records.

• Preparation & Sales Set-up: You will coordinate the inspection, sorting and presentation of goods and ensure that the sales area is always attractively displayed.

• Team Management & Leadership: You will lead the small on-site team, allocate tasks effectively and create a productive, friendly working atmosphere.

• Sales & Floor Performance: You are responsible for the customer experience on sale days, actively support sales and keep an eye on KPIs such as turnover and conversion rates.

• Process optimisation: You identify areas for improvement in processes and contribute your own ideas on how we can further develop the warehouse sale.

• Communication: You act as the point of contact for the retail team and provide structured feedback on product quality, sales and customer demand.

• Experience in retail, ideally including goods reception and stocking

• Initial experience in team leadership or a willingness to take on this responsibility.

• A flair for organisation and structure, and a high degree of personal responsibility.

• Strong communication skills and a passion for direct customer contact.

• Availability on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.

• Identification with the Kapten & Son brand – you are familiar with our products or are keen to learn about them.
