Job description

Be(come) the Experience – Help us build something that doesn't have a name yet.

We're part of the Kapten & Son Group – and we're building something new. A venture still taking shape, but with a clear direction: products that are part of people's everyday lives. You're joining when the foundations are still being laid – and you'll help decide how shop, assortment, and operations work from day one.

Start: immediately

Your Experience includes

  • Own the shop: You manage and develop our Shopify store, from product data and content to merchandising, conversion optimisation, and app management.

  • Drive sales & promotions: You plan, coordinate, and execute sale periods and promotional campaigns, including pricing logic and cross-channel alignment.

  • Lead demand planning & inventory management: You create sales forecasts, analyse stock levels, and ensure we avoid both out-of-stock situations and excess inventory.

  • Support purchasing operations: Together with the buying team of our parent company, you manage demand planning, quantities, timing, and reorders.

  • Build analytics & reporting: You develop and maintain shop, sales, and inventory reports that serve as a decision-making basis for management and the parent company.

  • Deliver product input: You translate sales and market data into concrete assortment and product recommendations for the product development team.

What's already in your bag

  • A completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in e-commerce, operations, or a similar environment

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to data, numbers, and processes

  • Communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, early-stage environment

  • Experience with Shopify is a plus, but not required

  • Fluent German and strong English skills

What awaits you

  • Flexibility: Flexitime + two home office days per week

  • Workation: Up to two weeks per year from your favourite European spot

  • Our HQ on the Rhine: A modern office with a barista, subsidised lunch, and a view of the water

  • Growth: Personal development opportunities and quarterly feedback sessions

  • Perks: Urban Sports Club, corporate benefits, and employee discounts

  • Volunteer Day: One paid day for your charitable commitment

  • Access to the Kapten & Son Group network: Benefit from the resources, expertise, and structures of an established D2C brand

Ready to join?
