Working Student (m/f/d) Barista & Office Management
- On-site
- Köln, Germany
- Office Management
Job description
Be(come) the Experience – Brew the moments that make every workday better.
We are Kapten & Son. With over 250 Kaptens, we work every day to become Europe's leading D2C lifestyle brand. Our products accompany people through their everyday experiences – and you make sure our HQ kicks off every morning with the right coffee and the best spirit.
Start: September
Your Kapten Experience includes
Crafting coffee moments: As our barista expert at the coffee bar, you create high-quality coffee specialities and latte art – delighting colleagues and guests with your warm, open personality.
Creating a feel-good atmosphere: With your sense for tidiness, cleanliness, and hospitality, you turn the coffee bar into a place where people love to linger, and where the Kapten spirit comes alive.
Owning the coffee bar: You take responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment, making sure everything runs smoothly day in, day out.
Shaping office life: As the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues, you set the positive tone in the office – coordinating incoming mail, orders, and communication with external service providers.
Keeping things organised: You support the procurement and management of office supplies and team up with other departments to help plan and execute internal team events.
What's already in your bag
You are an enrolled student and available Tuesday to Thursday for 16–20 hours per week
First experience as a barista is a plus, but not a must; a genuine passion for coffee counts for more
Some background in office management, hospitality, or the service industry is welcome, but not required
You work reliably, independently, and in an organised way, even when things get busy
As a hands-on personality, you keep the overview and love to roll up your sleeves
You bring a service-oriented, warm-hearted approach and genuinely enjoy working with people
Fluent German and a good level of English round off your profile
What awaits you
Feel-good atmosphere: A modern office right on the Rhine, with everything you could wish for, from our barista (that's you!) to subsidised lunch
#crewloveistruelove: Regular company and team events and creative workshops
Students Club: Monthly activities with all interns and working students
Learning & Development: Personal development opportunities and quarterly feedback sessions
Discounts: Corporate benefits and discounts on our products
Volunteer Day: Paid time off for your voluntary work #SocialResponsibility
Ready to join the crew?
