Your Kapten Experience includes
Driving process improvements: You proactively advance the development of our accounting processes, independently manage projects, and bring your hands-on mindset to shaping AI and automation solutions.
Shaping our bookkeeping: You take ownership of ongoing accounting tasks, from creating journal entries and managing fixed asset accounting to forming provisions and accruals.
Owning invoice processing: You review incoming invoices for VAT compliance, record and code them accurately, and ensure a smooth, structured accounts payable workflow day in, day out.
Supporting financial closings: You actively contribute to monthly and annual financial statements, reliably reconcile liabilities, and keep our figures clean and audit-ready.
Managing payment runs: You oversee timely payment processing, monitor open items, and ensure full transparency through consistent account reconciliation.
What's already in your bag
Completed commercial training, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting, or a comparable field
3–5 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Confident, hands-on experience with DATEV Rechnungswesen
Analytical thinking, a sharp eye for detail, and a structured, precise way of working
A proactive attitude, a sense of ownership, and the drive to take on responsibility in a dynamic, growing team
Good German language skills and solid English proficiency, both written and spoken
