In this role, you’ll combine hands-on, operational recruiting with a strategic mindset – ensuring that Kapten & Son continues to grow with the right talents on board.

What you’ll be driving at Kapten & Son...

  • Recruiting with impact: You take ownership of the entire recruiting process for our Headquarter positions – from internships to team lead roles – and act as a trusted sparring partner for our departments.

  • Strategic thinking, operational doing: While your main focus is on day-to-day recruiting, you’ll also contribute conceptually – developing our recruiting strategy, optimizing processes, and expanding sourcing channels and our talent pool.

  • Employer Branding: You actively shape our employer brand – both internally and externally. You manage our job portals, plan and execute employer branding and talent marketing activities, and contribute key ideas and content for our Instagram Career Channel. With your strategic mindset and creative approach, you help make Kapten & Son truly experienceable as an employer.

  • Student Relations: You support and engage our interns and working students, organize our Students Club events, and conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback and continuously improve our employee experience.

  • Onboarding (temporary coverage): When needed, you ensure a smooth start for our new Kaptens and support HR during probation period check-ins.

We're a match if you...

  • have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in operational recruiting, active sourcing and employer branding at an e-commerce company

  • have a successful degree in business administration, psychology, communication sciences or a similar subject area

  • have above-average empathy and use your excellent knowledge of human nature to find the "perfect match" between the requirements profile and the candidate

  • are very well versed in networking (e.g. LinkedIn) and not only know the tips and tricks for successful recruitment, but are also passionate about applying them

  • have strategic thinking and analytical skills, enabling you to develop HR initiatives that support and drive our business goals

  • inspire others with your confident demeanor, enthusiasm and persuasiveness

  • have a fluent command of written and spoken German and English
